Society of Lies by Lauren Ling Brown

Society of Lies is a “dark and haunting” thriller that “explores race, family, and the dark side of privilege within Princeton’s elite.”

This debut novel was inspired by the moral question: if you were invited to join a society that promised you the life of your dreams but then you learned that they were hurting someone else, would you stay?

If you are a fan of dark academia (The Maidens, The Cloisters, Catherine House) and rich people acting unhinged, then this one is for you.

I did hybrid regular book/audiobook, but I would recommend the regular book. I found it a bit hard to keep up with the dual POV and twisty plot on audio.
