The Tell by Amy Griffin
Over the weekend, I crushed the audiobook of The Tell, and I am going to be pretty darn insistent that you read it, too. This “courageous, generous” memoir was all over my Instagram and podcast feeds, and now I understand why.
In exploring her buried childhood trauma, Amy Griffin interrogates the pursuit of perfectionism, control, and maintaining appearances that drives so many women. With hope, heart, and relentless honesty, she points a way forward, revealing the power of radical truth-telling to deepen our connections—with others and ourselves.
Just like Chanel Miller’s Know My Name, I’ll be thinking about this book for a good long time.
