The Blue Hour by Paula Hawkins

The Blue Hour is the latest dark and twisty thriller from the author of The Girl on the Train.

It’s a slow-burn story that’s “reminiscent of du Maurier”

I didn’t love it as much as The Girl on the Train, but if you are into art, remote Scottish islands, and rich people behaving badly à la Saltburn, then this one is for you.

I did hybrid regular book/audiobook, but I would recommend the regular book. While I loved the Gemma Whelan’s narration (you may know her from Game of Thrones or Killing Eve),  there’s a lot to keep track of in the story, which I found to be a challenge when listening vs. reading.
