Going Home by Tom Lamont

Trust me when I say that you are going to want to read this smart, funny, beautifully written debut novel from Tom Lamont.

Going Home is the sparkling, funny, bighearted story of family and what happens when three men--all of whom are completely ill-suited for fatherhood--take charge of a toddler following an unexpected loss.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I’ll be thinking about the characters in this “poignant, immersive and finely observed novel” for a long time.

If you liked Nick Hornby's About a Boy, David Nicholls' One Day or Dolly Alderton's Good Material, then this one is for you.
